You may well have heard all the buzz online about the attacks on WordPress security. Unfortunately this is no joke, and it needs to be taken very seriously, or all you've built could be hijacked or worse, lost to you.
Since scare tactics appear to be at least start considering the problem, or what drives some people to take clean hacked wordpress site a bit more seriously, allow me to shoot a scare tactics your way.
Use strong passwords - Do what you can to use a password, alpha-numeric. Easy to remember passwords are also easy to guess!
Exclude pages - This plugin adds a checkbox,"include this page in menus", which is checked by default. If you find out uncheck it, the page will not appear in any listings of webpages (which contains, and is ordinarily restricted to, your webpage navigation menus).
Now it's time to sign up for a new Facebook account and use this person's name and identity. After I get it all set up, I'll be emailing you posing as your friend and asking you to be friends with me on Facebook about his (or Twitter, or whichever social site).
Just ensure you decide on a plugin that's current with the version and release of WordPress, and which you can schedule, restore and clone.
